I infused the leaves in boiling water for three minutes, producing a rather opaque, dark brown tea. It only took one sip of this tea to win me over. If you like almonds, you'll love this tea. This, for me, is a quintessential dessert tea. Rich, sweet, nutty, delicious! It does not need anything added to it, as it stands up on its own just fine. However, because it is a sturdy brew, you can add milk and/or sweetener to it without masking the tea's flavor. The almond flavor is very natural and I did not get a sense of artificial or cloyingly sweet fake flavors. As with the aroma notes, the coconut doesn't stand out on its own. From what I could tell, the coconut does blend with the almond flavor to help make a smooth and satisfying cup. This is the kind of tea that would be oh-so-satisfying on a cold and rainy day, or even the perfect tea to sip while curled up in bed with a book. I did try this tea as an iced tea as well, but because this tea has a rather heavy body, I found it did not work well as refreshing thirst-quencher. Still, I highly recommend this tea to anyone looking for their next go-to dessert tea.
