Thumbs up!"This Vanilla Black combines organic Indian Vanilla with Yunnan Black and Bai Lin Gong Fu, a Fujian black. These teas combine wonderfully with vanilla. There is definitely a distinction between all three elements, nothing is muted, and no flavor is predominate. The vanilla blends together two delicate black teas and gives way to a sweet, caramel afternoon delight."

cantonvanillablackJust last week a co-worker asked if I had some vanilla black tea. I have honestly never had a true vanilla black till I received Canton's. I was pretty impressed to see that it had actual organic Indian Vanilla in it compared to the majority teas with artificial flavoring. This is the third blend I've had from Canton, while they're known for providing high quality pure tea, their blends are just as good and they seem to be consistent with the theme of real ingredients.

This Vanilla Black combines organic Indian Vanilla with Yunnan Black and Bai Lin Gong Fu, a Fujian black. The leaves were brewed for 2 minutes at 200F with 2 teaspoons full of leaves. The Yunnan and Bai Lin combine wonderfully with vanilla. There is definitely a distinction between all three elements, nothing is muted, and no flavor is predominate. The vanilla blends together two delicate black teas and gives way a sweet, caramel afternoon delight.

Vanilla Black is able to perform for up to three brews, though the first was my favorite. This tea was a bit too sweet for a morning cup for me, it was more enjoyable in the afternoon and would be a great replacement for coffee after dessert. If you're looking for an enjoyable vanilla tea with pure ingredients with no additional flavoring, this is worth a try. You won't be disappointed.
