goldentipslogoThe name of this tea is a mouthful, but somehow it isn't particularly descriptive of what this tea actually is, so that's weird. The leaves are beautiful, though; they're deep gray and green with streaks of silver. I steep at 180° for 3 minutes.

The yellow liquor smells like hay, citrus, and chrysanthemum. It's a floral cup. The strong chrysanthemum flavour is accented with notes of lemon, pine, and hay. I know that doesn't sound like the best combination, but it's really rather delicious.

Delicious, at least, until you get to the aftertaste. It's creamy and strangely cloying, and it clashes with the rest of the cup rather than meshing. It's a good cup, though. The aftertaste is the only major downside, taste-wise. I will enjoy every cup of my sample, and I wish it was still on their website so I could maybe buy it, but I guess other people got to it first.
