Thumbs up!"This is honestly one of the better chais I've had in a long time, I would highly recommend it. The texture is so smooth the addition of milk seems pointless, the sweetness of vanilla removes the desire for sugar."

ChaidiarieslogoI always make it a goal of mine to search out the best chai, very few impress as some are muddled with an overpowering orange taste and lacking in spiciness. Considering this companies name, Chai Diaries, I'd expect they'd offer some good chai. Their masala chai includes Indian black tea, ginger root, cinnamon chips, green cardamom, natural ginger, cinnamon and vanilla flavors.

Most chai I find includes broken orange pekoe grade, which doesn't bother me as long as the taste impresses. A heaping tablespoon was used to brew for about 4 minutes till the liquor turned a nice dark red. The aroma is enchanting, rich spices and full of vanilla. The texture is very smooth, the taste is slightly sweet and includes a perfect blend of spices. There really isn't one dominant taste, as all the spices mold together. The vanilla, cinnamon, and cardamom stand out the most to me. There is no orange in this blend, which I favor so that's a plus.

Overall, this is honestly one of the better chais I've had in a long time, I would highly recommend it. The texture is so smooth the addition of milk seems pointless, the sweetness of vanilla removes the desire for sugar.
