With simple deduction, one would think that such a satiating drink brewed from water would be a bit far fetched to say the least. Nevertheless, I alongside many others find myself repeatedly striving towards the goal of finding a dessert tea that genuinely is what it claims to be.
Quite unexpectedly, Necessiteas' Sweet Almond proved to be quite different from an overall disappointing norm. A slight nuttiness is evident, though this is nothing similar to such notes in Chinese green teas. The leaves do not provide a bold cup with a mere splash of flavoring; rather, the resulting brew is one truly cohesive with varying elements that balance one another.
There is a definite sweetness to the blend, which is on its own very commendable. But The Necessiteas' Sweet Almond doesn't stop there, piling on undeniably unique characteristics to an overall enjoyable cup. Coconut is evident for sure, but not in a readily detectable way; that is, I didn't realize coconut was in the blend until I examined more closely the tea's label. But I will admit that my aim in detecting individual notes was for some reason nonexistent in working with this tea (nothing against the tea itself - I suppose I was just a bit lazy).
Regardless, the tea boasts multiple elements for sure, and while they may not exactly resemble what they purport, the end product is a well above average one. I think the Teaviews consensus is quite clear - The Necessiteas' Sweet Almond is a definite buy for you sweet-loving tea drinkers.
