My name is Barbara and I am 37 years old, and a resident of Florida. I am a busy mother of three. I am interested in classical music, the great outdoors, and spending time with my children. I am also involved in animal rescue.

I have always been a tea drinker, but really started drinking it after having surgery, and was told it as much healthier for me that carbonated drinks. I thought perhaps the transition from other beverages to mainly tea might have been hard. With all of the wonderful variety of teas out there, I was soon hooked, and the idea of trying every available tea out on the market consumes my thoughts and taste buds. So many tea varieties, but so little time! I actually feel so much better since making the switch to tea.

Not only do I enjoy drinking tea, but I also enjoy cooking. I use many different teas to flavor many different dishes that I make. One of my favorite teas to use in cooking, is the strongest green tea I can find. Green tea fried rice is so heavenly, and one of my most requested dishes.

My absolute favorite tea is strongly brewed Thai iced tea served with a bit of sweetened condensed milk and a splash of cream, followed by Earl Grey, Darjeeling, and many different herbals. I have recently started drinking different red teas (Rooibos). I would have to say my least favorite tea would be the fruit flavored teas that have an acidic sour taste to them. Blueberry tea is actually one of my favorite fruit flavored teas. To date the blueberry teas I have tried so far, have been light and flavorful. I love my teas light, or dark depending on my mood. In the evenings I tend to go for a lighter or herbal tea. During the day, I prefer a strong black tea.
