Teaviews Profile: Katie
I'm Katie, and I am a twenties married chick who can't figure out what to do with her life. I was born in Canada and grew up in Wisconsin. My heart has always yearned for the great white north, so I moved back to Canada for college and just kind of stayed. I love vintage suitcases, zombie movies, snooty Belgian beer, my puppy, and obviously tea.
My obsession with tea began my second year of college. It was the first winter I ever had to pay for my utilities, so I kept the heat rather low, and being the tiny little thing that I am, I was constantly freezing. I started drinking copious amounts of tea just to stay warm, and it didn't take me long to realise how much I thoroughly enjoy the beverage.
Since tea stores are a bit harder to come by in the Canadian prairies, I spend a great deal of time perusing the Internet for good tea sites, which is how I happened upon Teaviews. My favourite genre of tea tends to be whatever I'm drinking that day. I try to pick one I like the best, but as soon as I decide it's oolongs, I try a good raw pu-erh, and I'm back at square one.
