Teaviews Profile: Lea
I'm Lea. I'm twenty two, was born in Ohio, and am currently residing in Alabama. I love vegan cooking, and (intelligent) survival horror movies, Asian culture, cats and, of course, tea. An ideal afternoon for me would be reading up on a Chinese empress with one of my cats curled in my lap, a steaming cup of tea beside me.
My relationship with tea began when I was a child. My mom would make me a cup if I didnt feel well or couldn't sleep. A couple years later I was making it for myself, always whatever could be found at the grocery store, and mostly herbal (which I still love). I grew up, moved out, and discovered a vast world of tea I never knew existed. My cupboards quickly filled up with tea of all kinds. My fiancee watched in half amusement, half (concerned?) horror as I picked out a six foot cabinet in which to contain it all. Needless to say, its almost full.
I am partial to flavored teas of all varieties, but especially love white tea's delicate notes that really allow the flavor to come through. Aside from Earl Grey, and English breakfast teas (which I have tried and officially given up on), I enjoy and appreciate all teas.
I love trying new tea, and am always looking for the next addition to my cabinet.
