Teaviews Profile: Scott
Hey. The name’s Scott. I’m 21 and I’m currently a senior Chemical Engineer, working my way to graduate studies in Brewing and Distilling Science. I like video games, reading fantasy books, playing more video games, and home-brewing. I love trying beverages and I’m the founder of the In With Bacchus review blog. Some of the important details: my favorite genre of music is blues, my favorite movie type is documentary, and my favorite color is a mix up between royal blue and forest green. Yeah, I’m a rather simple person, but it’s the small and simple stuff that matters in the end.
I first started drinking tea at about eight years old. Our family had a tea service set in a hutch and I used to love taking it out and drinking tea. As I progressed into my teen years I managed to get my hands on a lot of loose-leaf, flavored black teas and I quickly fell in love. My first tea purchase was a big bag of Iron Goddess of Mercy oolong. I’m really willing to try anything and I go into every tasting with an open mind (and usually an empty stomach too).
