I didn't notice a distinct flavor of caramel, but I did notice that this tea had a very pleasant cherry taste, along with the sweet.
I prefer this tea steeped for 3 minutes or less. That gives you a perfectly smooth tasting cup. While I can’t say that this tea tasted like caramel, I did enjoy the taste of this tea very much. To me, it tasted almost exactly like a chocolate covered cherry. It was very sweet, and I only added just a bit of sweetener, as you can easily over sweeten this tea. I can actually stand to drink this tea without sugar, and enjoy it very much. Not only does it taste like chocolate covered cherries, but it also smells like chocolate covered cherries. I sense a slight vanilla undertone as long as I don’t steep for to long.

Overall, I liked this tea. I would probably welcome a cup again. It isn’t my top favorite, but would help curb my sweet tooth.

The taste of this Coconut Chai was strong and spicy. You could taste hints of ginger, cinnamon, and cardamon. There was a ever so slight peppery feel. I like this Chai because the pepper wasn’t overwhelming. The coconut flavors that came out blended so well with the spices. The coconut totally changes your usual Chai experience. The aroma was outstanding, and I enjoyed as much as my drinking experience. You could serve this tea with or without sweetener. You could even add a splash of milk. I prefer the sweetened condensed milk because it gives it a thicker, almost dessert feel. I would almost call this a dessert replacement when served this way. It also gives a creamier flavor, and when added to your tea, will turn your tea completely white and makes a beautiful cup.

I prefer to steep this tea around 4 minutes. I prefer it stronger especially if I am going to use the sweetened condensed milk. . This one is a definite keeper. My company can’t wait for me to invite them to tea once again.

I tend to usually steep my teas to the maximum suggested serving directions, and sometimes even longer. I noticed the pale color and assumed I would need to steep longer. When I did that I noticed that this tea was very bitter. I now steep this tea for under 2 minutes compared to the 5 minutes I had first tried. There is a huge difference in taste.

I prefer to drink this tea with little to no sweetener, and served piping hot. This tea is so delicate, that to me sugar overpowers the flavor. If I should happen to steep a bit longer than preferred, I will add about a teaspoon of honey to 6 ounces of steeped tea.

I am not a true die hard Jasmine tea fan, but my daughter is. She absolutely raved about the quality of this tea, telling me it was the best she has ever tried. I see a gift basket with this tea included in the near future. We enjoyed our tea for breakfast, paired with a bowl of old fashioned oatmeal and fresh cut fruit. This tea really hit the spot. I think it makes an excellent breakfast tea, or an after dinner dessert tea. It is very light, and will compliment most desserts in my opinion.

To be honest I would much rather drink a Darjeeling tea, but this was a nice change.

I was surprised to to find out this was a whole leaf tea as the little particles were so skinny. This tea surprisingly expands a lot once steeped. I enjoyed this tea the most served with a bit of sweetener, but could also enjoy it without any additives what so ever.

I tend to steep this tea just a bit under 5 minutes. Once steeped, you are getting a deep chocolate color tea. This tea is rich, strong, and packs a nice punch of flavor that can be described as nutty, and bold without the bitterness. This tea has a really smooth taste even though it is very strong, a sign of a high quality tea in my opinion.

I love this tea served without sweetener, as there is a slight sweetness already. When I enjoy this tea, I tend to focus more on the boldness. You could serve this tea with a splash of milk, but I think it tastes best served by itself served piping hot. As this tea cools, you can pick up more of this tea’s sweetness.

If you are fond of teas like Earl Grey or other strong black teas, then I would highly suggest giving Golden Moon’s Irish Breakfast Special Reserve a try. What a way to start your day, or a perfect close to your evening.

As this tea starts to cool, I will then add enough sweetened condensed milk to suit me. I normally add about 2 tablespoons per six ounces. When drinking Kama Chai Sutra on it’s own, I am able to really enjoy it without any milk or sugar. Alone it tastes earthy with a strong , cloves, cinnamon, and ginger feel to it. When you add the sweetened condensed milk, it brings out a vanilla flavor and tends to blend all of the spices together a bit more. After this tea cools down a bit, I will then add ice and serve in tall glasses. Wow, Is that ever so delicious! This tea can be enjoyed cold or hot, with or without additives. I love teas that are versatile.

Tavalon’s Kama Chai Sutra is not as spicy as some of the others, however, this blend is so smooth, and has a perfect balance. I don’t sense any bitterness, even if I go past that 30 seconds in boiling. If you haven’t tried this blend and you are a lover of Chai tea, I highly suggest trying.

You can see chunks of raspberries and other fruits in this blend. I was very impressed by the aroma and it took me back to when I was a child and I grew up on the farm picking raspberries and strawberries. Raspberries dominate here, and I really enjoyed this cup. The scents of this tea scented my entire kitchen. Summer Romance was the perfect name for this summery blend. You can taste hints of strawberries and a slight undertone of vanilla. There is a slight acidic aftertaste, but it was mild compared to other teas of this nature. I didn’t mind it at all.

You will know you have steeped your tea long enough when you get an almost deep rose color. Don’t be afraid to let it steep for 10 minutes. This tea needs time for all of the flavors to really unfold. I really enjoyed this tea. So far TeaGschwendner’s really seems to know their teas. I haven’t disliked any of their teas so far.
