The main reason this one fumbles is because the ginger flavor really isn't present. If it weren't called "Rooibush Ginger" I might not have known this was supposed to be ginger flavored. When you can taste the ginger, it gives the blend a smokey taste, which isn't altogether bad, but it somehow manages to taste almost medicinal at times, which is kind of bad.

It’s tastes like the strawberries ‘n cream Creme Savers (which I’m pretty sure aren’t made anymore. . . but they were also delicious). A bit more specifically, it has a really sweet, creamy strawberry flavor. The vanilla itself isn’t necessarily distinguishable as vanilla, but it’s presence is more than known, as it gives the strawberry a very creamy taste, and adds to the sweetness. The green tea base adds a slight astringency, but the sweetness of the rest of the tea is more than enough to make you forget it’s even there.

Bottom Line: You have to try this, unless you hate strawberries. If you do happen to hate strawberries, then it’s a pity, cuz you’re missing out on some good stuff here.

And I love peach and ginger, so this one seemed right up my alley. Upon opening the box the infuser came in (a nice, silken one, with lots of space for the decent-sized leaves to move around in), I was welcomed by the enticing smell of peaches, with a hint of ginger. So far, this cup of tea was looking good.

Unfortunately, after brewing I was less than pleased. The tea lost almost all of its delicious peach smell, and pretty much just smelled like black tea. The taste was similar; mostly black tea, though ginger was prominent. The peach came out the tiniest bit in the aftertaste, but you really had to be looking for it. A bit of sugar mellowed the black tea taste a bit, but didn’t really bring out any of the other flavors.

Bottom Line: Not necessarily a bad tea, but it’s not a good tea, either. And since it is called “Ginger Peach”, I would have liked to taste more of the peach. Even if you’re a fan of flavored black tea, I’d recommend passing on this one for something a bit better.

Bottom Line: It’s a lovely herbal blend that makes an interesting and relaxing cup of tea. If you enjoy mint or spice blends, this is a must-try.
