Teaviews Profile: Dave
I discovered tea about ten years ago, and my love of it has only grown since then. I drink 2-3 cups a day. While I enjoy all kinds of tea, I'm a bit of a purist. I've always preferred the classics: straight black, green, white or oolong – no sugar, milk or flavourings. Nothing beats a good Darjeeling first thing in the morning, or a Chinese green tea in the afternoon.
What always amazes me about tea is how every cup tastes different. Because of the complexity of good tea, subtle differences in brewing time and temperature can bring out completely different flavours. That's one of the reasons I never get tired of tea.
Aside from drinking tea, my interests include music, theatre, literature and comic books.
