Teaviews Profile: James
I am an attorney in Arlington, Texas. I drink at least two large cups of tea everyday. My first love for tea came from drinking my mother’s Lipton instant tea with sweet and low when I was a child. It was always best when it had been sitting for a while and the ice was melted. I dropped tea for a long term addiction to Dr. Pepper, but was reintroduced in early 2007. Oh, I tried hot tea from time to time, but it was always the common ones: Orange Spice or Chamomile. I tried some other teas every now and then, but just couldn’t bring myself to enjoy them. Now I do. My review of Tazo’s Awake tells the story of my final re-introduction.
I enjoy teas on the strong, bitter side - this actually surprises me – but I also enjoy some green, and lately, white, teas. I have recently started drinking some English breakfast teas and really enjoy them. Earl Grey is next on the list. I am still fairly new to tea and I hope that my insights will be beneficial to those attempting to make a change from sodas or coffee. I intend to explore different types and brands of teas this year, along with different gadgets and accessories. I am glad to have the opportunity to share my experience.
