The light to medium body of the tea and the tasty and comforting way the mint soothes the stomach while the cardamom lingers on the tongue makes it possible to drink tons of this and have a pleasant time doing so.

Their description mentions papaya but I don’t see any in their ingredients and I’m happy since I’m not a fan of papaya. The scent is strong and smells great while brewing. The tea tastes like light and fresh pineapples floating in green tea; I would expect to find this served at a spa retreat, iced, in July or August, with people commenting on how much they’d love to bathe themselves in this stuff. The tart bubbly sense is still there after brewing and I half expect to taste carbonation. This truly is a happy summertime tea and would be great with an added slice of lime and an iced pitcher for refills nearby.

The tea is lightly sweet and smoky, though it makes me look for a depth that isn’t there. There is also a slight astringency that is just right, but indicates that a longer steeping time wouldn’t work for me. This would be tasty with a bit of honey and milk to enhance the sweetness that’s there. I’m glad I tried this, but I’m going to keep looking.

The medium body is smooth, there's a touch of honeyed sweetness toward the end of my sip that adds a pleasant note, but I'm not sure if it's enough to make me hunt this tea down. If someone were looking to round out their oolong collection, or was looking to try a new kind, I would definitely recommend this, but it's not a "must-have"....

The first scent of this tea reminds me to buy bread to accompany it. There are fresh dough and grain notes that feel hearty and nourishing. The light body reminds me of a light, plain, mushroom-based broth. Combined with the scent, this tea is very easy to like; it’s a simple, goes-with-everything tea. That said, I’m not sure I can identify anything that makes this tea stand out from other well made teas. The medium body is smooth, there’s a touch of honeyed sweetness toward the end of my sip that adds a pleasant note, but I’m not sure if it’s enough to make me hunt this tea down. If someone were looking to round out their oolong collection, or was looking to try a new kind, I would definitely recommend this, but it’s not a “must-have”.

They didn't use small, fresh, and young red rosebuds here; it's aroma and taste remind me more of a huge single deep burgundy rose a few days into it's bloom. Not old, but mature, ripe, soft and in its most beautiful state. Sensuality replaces youthfulness in this tea and the result is a drink that could be spectacular if the body were not so light. The scent and initial taste set up great expectations of complexity and an abundance of roses, but it doesn't follow through. Too bad. There is a hint of sweetness in the aftertaste that could be enhanced with honey (and possibly fantastic with the addition of a sweet fruit and honey), but it doesn't seem to be able to follow through on it...

This would be great for any occasion when great first impressions are needed and follow-through is not.
