Zhi Sweet Desert Delight

Teaviews Member: Geoff Geoff's review:
"I can't recall ever trying a coconut-flavored tea, but this definitely qualifies. Cinnamon and coconut are the dominant scents here. As to what star anise or any of the other ingredients smell like, I'm not sure."

Teaviews Member: Laura Laura's review:
"This is great for those that like a very spicy chai blend. If spice scares you off in any way, then this is not for you."

Teas by Voudou Olympus

7/10  —  2 reviews
Teaviews Member: Vanessa Vanessa's review:
"The flavor of this tea is unique, most likely attributable to the uncommon Mountain tea flowers, which seem to impart a lemony-citrus flavor . Overall, though, the anise is the dominant flavor. I would recommend this tea based on its uniqueness alone, but will warn that if you have an aversion to anise, you should probably let this one pass you by."

Teaviews Member: Christine Christine's review:
"Unsurprisingly, this blend smells much like a chai, and tastes like one too. It's not quite as complex, and maybe a bit sweeter, but overall, not too much different."

"The primary flavor here in anise, despite the vast array of other ingredients. I liked the flavor, but I didn't notice any particular energy boost."

"A pleasant tasting tea with citrus and licorice notes, and a bit of natural sweetness... but just not enough flavor in this blend to completely satisfy."

Boston Tea Company Bombay Chai

6.2/10  —  1 review
Teaviews Member: Raven Raven's review:
"The pleasant mix of spices would easily suit individuals wanting a tamer spiciness in their tea, but I fear there is not enough unique flavour or punch to entice or beguile more seasoned palates."

Joshua Tree Unplugged

5.3/10  —  3 reviews
Teaviews Member: Vanessa Vanessa's review:
"There was a spicy element, definitely from the cardamom, but the overwhelming flavor is medicinal-herbal. The licorice is definitely present, so if you don't like licorice, you surely won't like this blend."

Teaviews Member: Laura Laura's review:
"This does remind me of a subtle chai with a licorice twist. The anise/licorice component isn't too in your face while this is hot, but previous experience tells me that they will become more prevalent as the cup cools."

Teaviews Member: Katie Katie's review:
"For a tea that includes such a cacophony of flavours, this blends together surprisingly well, with the anise being rather subdued. It is complex and interesting the whole cup through."
