"The tea itself was a deep copper, no bronze, probably due to higher temp water. Taste-wise, it had a very bitter forefront, but relaxed to something more akin to an Assam; a full-bodied black tea with comlex characteristics."

"Even if you don’t think you are a fan of “plain” black teas, this one could change your mind. "

"Sorry this is short, but this is a very simple, mild, rich, tongue coating tea that doesn't take much in the description department."

"The taste was full and rich. After it sat a bit, there was a subtle sweetness that came through. It would be great as a breakfast tea and would especially go with some scones."

"Probably the best basic black I have had in a while, slightly nutty, slightly smokey, and perfectly balanced."

Teaviews Member: Geoff Geoff's review:
"To the scent, it resembled a green/white tea fusion. Not exactly grassy or vegetal, rather pleasantly wildernessy."

"The aroma was great, though a little spicy. The taste was even better. There was a little sweetness that complimented the spiciness."

"Those of you who like to cook with tea should really get some of this. I was expecting something a little more spicy, but this is not a heavy spice load--in fact I found the spice to be kinda subdued."

Teaviews Member: Vanessa Vanessa's review:
"The smell actually scared me enough to make me reconsider if I could go through with the tasting. Eventually, I took a few sips, and was really taken aback by this tea. My main impression is that while the tea wasn't downright undrinkable, the flavors were more characteristic of what you would expect from solid foods, not liquid beverages."

"What really came across was a sort of blend of Basil (unsacred as it is), Catnip, and a bit of mint. If you like the savory side of herbal teas this should really hit the spot."

Teatulia Neem Nectar

6.5/10  —  4 reviews
Teaviews Member: Katie Katie's review:
"If neither cost nor variety are a concern for you, I definitely recommend investing in Neem Nectar as a way to step out of the box. If they are a concern for you, I recommend sucking it up and buying some Teatulia anyway."

"Overall, this is surely an interesting tea offering a herbal flavor that has likely not been encountered by most of us in the western world, and thus deserves attention for that fact alone. "

"This taste is going to take some getting used to. Perhaps this is best suited to people who would like to try neem, a new ayuredic tea, or who are already familiar with this herb."

"The flavor is certainly interesting and different, not something I’d drink as a daily brew. But for the medicinal value and meditative value, this tea is a winner."
