Black tea is the most commonly served tea in the Western world. Black teas are more oxidized than green, white and oolong teas, and are generally stronger in flavor and more caffeinated. The additional oxidization also help to preserve black tea longer than other types, which can often lose their flavor after 1-2 years. For this reason, black tea was a common article of trade across the silk road between China and the Middle East and Europe.

Vanessa's review: "On its own without anything added to it, this tea seems to work best as an iced tea, but I actually think that given the strong flavor of this brew, a splash of milk and a teaspoon of sugar (or other sweetener) would make an ideal cup of hot tea to accompany a good dessert.
