Blueberry Tea

Blueberries are native to North America, but are today grown throughout Australia, New Zealand and South America as well. They contain large amounts of antioxidants that some research has shown can reduce the risk of certain diseases, including cancer. Other research suggests they help prevent urinary tract infections, lower cholesterol and control blood pressure. Blueberries are also high in manganese and vitamin K.

"In order to have the full blueberry muffin dessert experience, you need to sweeten this just a tad and give it a splash of dairy (I chose fat free half & half). This is just plain delicious. "

"The natural blueberry flavor melded effortlessly with the nutty rooibos base, creating a creamy and fruity flavor. This tea has every quality that one would want from a dessert tea: rich, creamy, sweet, and smooth. I think I may have found my new favorite rooibos blend. "

Zhi Tea White Blueberry

7.6/10  —  6 reviews
Teaviews Member: Laura Laura's review:
"The white tea is smooth and has a pretty strong floral component to it. It also has the taste of one that is of decent quality. The blueberry is actually pretty natural tasting, and not tart at all as some blueberries are."

"It was more a balanced marriage of flavors than a starring role/supporting actor style presentation. The blueberry flavor was light and a consistent overtone working with the also consistent presence of the white tea flavor. I really enjoyed this aspect of the tea."

"The blueberry flavouring is a bit strong for the tea, but it's a good flavouring that stays into the aftertaste. Zhi teas are organic, so if cost is not an issue for you, I would recommend this as a good, basic fruit-flavoured white tea."
