Chicory Root Tea

Chicory root has long been cultivated throughout Europe as a coffee substitute. It has traditionally been used to treat dyspepsia, loss of appetite, liver and gallbladder problems, Type II Diabetes, constipation, gallstones, sinus problems and even cuts and bruises. It is generally roasted when used in tea and provides a rich, earthy taste similar in many ways to that of coffee.
