Laura's review: "The taste is definitely savory and is dominated by the toastiness of the brown rice. It balances nicely against the Sencha, which is not overly vegetal and somewhat mild. " Read review » |

Laura's review: "The tea base is fairly mild and the toasted rice is dominant, but not overwhelming. However, the finish and the aftertaste has a bit of sweetness to it that does, in fact, remind me of vanilla." Read review » |

Lynn's review: "The liquor brewed up to a medium jade and cloudy, due to the matcha. It had pull, giving a pleasant sensation of dryness, and the mix of sencha and matcha imparted a definite but not unpleasant bitter edge, especially down the sides of the tongue. But there it was again, that hint of sourness." Read review » |

Vanessa's review: "The overall flavor was intense and slightly bitter, bearing obvious contributions from both the GenMai and the matcha. The toasted rice flavor was weaker than I have noted in other teas, but that is to be expected given that this tea is not exclusively GenMai and has to share the cup with a fairly strong counterpart. The matcha smoothed out the tea and added a little sweetness, which paired quite well with the toasted rice. " Read review » |
