Vanessa's review: "This is a fantastic twist on a classic blend, and something that can be appreciated by hojicha lovers and non-lovers alike. The overall flavor is clean and refreshing, starting out with powerful minty notes but also offering a muted toasted flavor. " Read review » |

Troy's review: "A Peppermint Hojicha, who'd have thought those two flavors would go together so well, and result in something so chocolate-esque?" Read review » |

Jamie's review: "Taste wise, I keep feeling like this is surely a more minty tea than a green. But then I take another sip and am again surprised by the fine balance between the two flavors. " Read review » |

Jamie's review: "I enjoyed this tea for its color and aroma, before and after the brewing process. The taste of the tea was a bit on the strong side for my tastes. But for an interesting, hearty brew, I'd give it a try." Read review » |

Vanessa's review: "This tea also has a dominant nutty-woodsy flavor, that had some hard-to-pinpoint familiarity. I later realized that the nutty-woodsy flavor was very similar to the wheat/grain flavors found in some of the old-fashioned whole-grain hot cereals." Read review » |

Babette's review: "The surprise was how sweet and mild the actual flavor of the tea is. I could certainly taste the flavoring of the roasting process, a smoky sweetness that produces a nutty flavor. But I also tasted the woodiness – similar to the way that the oak flavors a fine aged whiskey." Read review » |

Lynn's review: "The flavor lingered well between sips and in the wake of the initial sweetness strong notes of toast, cinnamon, and honey emerged and lingered in the long finish. It's an incredible contrast to sencha or bancha. There was no bitterness, or vegetal, grassy flavors at all. But it was also just a little on the bland side, too, with no astringency, no edge."
