Honeybush or ‘Heuningbos’ in Afrikaans, is commonly used to make an infusion in the same manner as tea. It grows only in a small area in the southwest of South Africa in the Langkloof area of the Eastern Cape and shares many similarities with rooibos. Honeybush is so named because the flowers smell of honey. The taste of honeybush tea is similar to that of rooibos but a little sweeter.

Laura's review: "Once the cup cooled a bit, I was greeted by a pleasant cup that is dominated by the honeybush flavor itself. There is a slight chocolate undertone to this that kind of flirts with your tastebuds prompting you to keep drinking it. " Read review » |

Lynn's review: "I did what I seldom do: I added a teaspoonful of raw sugar. It was, of course, sweeter, and the honey and caramel flavors far more pronounced and to a great degree, more satisfying. It took on a creamier, thicker feel, and I did feel like I was drinking caramel and honey, with a touch of chocolate. I think I'm just going to have to finally accept that some teas and tisanes need sugar." Read review » |

Vanessa's review: "While the spicy flavors come through and are most definitely reminiscent of pumpkin pie flavors, I found a notable absence of actual pumpkin flavor here, despite the addition of pumpkin pieces and pumpkin seeds to the mix." Read review » |

Jamie's review: "This tea, to my taste, is just over the edge of a flavorful balance. It is a little too intensely, almost artificially strong and sweet both in the nose and on the taste buds, though I should be clear that there are no artificial ingredients whatsoever in this tea blend."
