Types of Japanese green tea include Sencha, Gyokuro, Matcha, Bancha, Hojicha, Kukicha and Genmaicha. "The flavor of the first artichoke-green infusion was wonderfully robust, at once sweet, bitter, and definitely vegetal— a mix of arugula and asparagus with a touch of honey and cream—and I mean that in the best possible way"
