Licorice Root Tea

The liquorice plant is a legume (related to beans and peas) and native to southern Europe and parts of Asia. A sweet flavor, commonly referred to simply as licorice, can be extracted from its root. In traditional Chinese medicine, liquorice is commonly used in herbal formulas to “harmonize” the other ingredients in the formula and to carry the formula into all 12 of the regular meridians.

Vanessa's review: "As its name implies, this tea is spicy, in fact, I would say it is very spicy. This tea really has some kick to it, and therefore will likely not appeal to everyone. " Read review » |
