Teaviews Member: Stephen Stephen's review:
"A delicious pear-flavored green tea... the flavor is more akin to candied pears, and is sweeter and more concentrated than in most similar blends."

Tea Forte White Ginger Pear

8.5/10  —  1 review
Teaviews Member: Laura Laura's review:
"The pear flavor is delicious despite that it is not the most natural tasting pear ever. The ginger adds just the right amount of heat to make this interesting."

Simpson & Vail Green Pear

8/10  —  3 reviews
Teaviews Member: Jenn Jenn's review:
"The blend is good and the flavor of pear actually makes an appearance which is so often not the case in pear flavored teas."

"Yet again, Simpson & Vail's flavouring is spot on, and this time the tea itself comes through very effectively."

Tea Guys Pomegranate Pear

7.6/10  —  4 reviews
Teaviews Member: Vanessa Vanessa's review:
"The aroma of this tea is primarily of berries and currants, which dominate the flavor as well. There are no blueberries or raspberries in the ingredients list, but that is how I would best describe the flavor. I did sample it both hot and cold and enjoyed it both ways."

"This brews up to a beautiful berry red color that is pretty typical for a fruit tisane with hibiscus in it. The taste is really sort of unique. "

Teaviews Member: Geoff Geoff's review:
"Flavor-wise, pomegranate and hibiscus were the victors. Pear was present in the aftertaste. The only major thing lacking in this fruity fusion was sweetness."

Teaviews Member: Jamie Jamie's review:
"The tea had a great flavor, high and bright, super fruity, warm and pleasantly sweet. The pomegranate does come out in the flavor. It's high and tangy, hanging a little over top of the overall flavors like a soprano solo."

Tea Forte Iced White Ginger Pear

7.6/10  —  2 reviews
Teaviews Member: Katie Katie's review:
"The cheap-o in me was pretty skeptical that a tea on this end of the price scale would end up in my "too buy" list, but I changed my mind after the first few sips."

Teaviews Member: Jamie Jamie's review:
"The ginger fulls up the underside - gently spicy at first and then mellowing to a lingering sweetness that stays with you awhile. The pear is perhaps most notable in a subtly sweet sense and is not overwhelming."

"Thankfully, Revolution hit the pear flavouring right on. It was sweet but had a bit of a bite so it wasn't too sweet. The pear flavour lingered long into the aftertaste and left me wanting more."

"It was delicious, natural, and extremely refreshing. The only downfall in my book is that I wouldn’t drink it as a morning brew because I need a humongous punch of caffeine to get me going. It would be a perfect afternoon or evening cup."

"The pear aroma and taste is the delicate part of the experience with this tea. Mostly I taste a strong white tea that has a touch of sweetness and a gentle pear aftertaste."

"I tasted a slightly sweet fruit flavor but couldn’t tell it was pear. On my last swallow of the cup however, I could taste the pear."

"White tea usually strikes me as smooth on the tongue but this was nearly bitter and sour. I actually thought of white vinegar at one point! There was an aftertaste that I can be called nothing short of chemical."

Teaviews Member: Vanessa Vanessa's review:
"The white tea used here, however, was a little earthier (aka greener) than I was hoping for, and it just clashed with the pear. There was a bit of an awkward aftertaste as a result."

"The tea base dominates the cup and the fruit (which you could have probably just as well passed off to me as apple or a number of other fruits) offers a bit of natural sweetness to the finish. "

"Much of the honey like sweetness comes straight from the tea and Zhi has tastefully added to the white's own strengths rather than caking flavor over them."

The Teacup La Belle Helene

6.5/10  —  3 reviews
Teaviews Member: Laura Laura's review:
"I found this cup to be really delicious. I liked the pear flavor and only wish that the caramel had been a little more discernible. This would be a great dessert tea as well as a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up."

Teaviews Member: Katie Katie's review:
"The only real problem with this blend lies in their choice of base tea - a dissapointing black number with a displeasing amount of bitterness. I wouldn't go so far as to say it ruins the tea overall, but it's a shame that with such great flavouring, the tea itself would put in such a weak performance."

"In the end, while I enjoyed this tea, I certainly wasn't head-over-heels crazy for it, probably because I am not a big fan of pear flavors and because I found it to be just a little too sweet (as a sweet-tooth, I never ever thought I would say something was too sweet!)."

David's Tea Organic Caramel Pear

6.5/10  —  1 review

"It was a sweet black tea, a little overly sweet for my tastes. Not bad at all, but it was impossible to taste the pear and the caramel was a flavor more of general sweetness than anything specific."

"My major hitch with this tea is that it was neither very pear nor very caramel. It was sweet and vaguely fruity, but if I didn't know the flavours beforehand, I probably couldn't have placed what they were."

"don't know why but most chocolate teas that I have tried came off as bitter rather than a sweet indulgence. I could not taste any of the pear or caramel. Perhaps it was the combination of cacao nibs and chocolate chips that ruined this blend."
