52 Teas

A project of Zoomdweebie’s Tea, 52teas brings out a small, hand-crafted batch of tea each week. Each blend is based directly on input from their readers and customers, and once its gone, its gone for good. “Tea of the Week” plans are also on offer. 52teas relies heavily on social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook to get direct feedback from their customers. While many of 52teas’ limited edition blends might be sold out before we get our reviews published, if there is enough public outcry for a particular blend, 52teas will re-blend popular incarnations of their tea of the week.

Vanessa's review: "This is a great blend, and one that lives up to its name. The apple and cinnamon flavors do resemble those you find in apple cider, but I will caution that this tea does also have an artificial flavor aspect to it as well." Read review » |

52 Teas Malted Genmaicha
7.6/10 — 1 review

 |
Laura's review: "The tea base is fairly mild and the toasted rice is dominant, but not overwhelming. However, the finish and the aftertaste has a bit of sweetness to it that does, in fact, remind me of vanilla." Read review » |

52 Teas Candy Cane Black
7.5/10 — 1 review

 |
Dan's review: "A simple idea - the blending of black tea and peppermint - that is strangely rare in the world of tea. Yet it makes perfect sense. Here it's done perfectly, without any sickly-sweet overbearingness; just pure peppermint essence combined with caffeinated black tea. A winning combo." Read review » |

52teas Cherry Vanilla Cola

52 Teas Cinnamon Fig Rooibos

 |
Vanessa's review: "With this tea, the smell is pretty much a spot-on indicator of the flavor. The sweet cinnamon flavor dominates, but there is certain tart kick in the aftertaste. While I found this to be an enjoyable blend, I also found that the general flavor of the tea was more apple-cinnamon than cinnamon-fig. " Read review » |

52 Teas Butterscotch Chai
5.5/10 — 3 reviews

 |
Erika's review: "Had I not known the chai was flavored with butterscotch, I would have simply assumed this was just another basic chai." Read review » |

Kari's review: "The tea was okay, however, when I added some milk and sugar, it became richer, like a treat. " Read review » |

 |
Vanessa's review: "All along, however, the main thing I focused on while drinking this tea was the distinct lack of butterscotch flavor; it was just barely there. I could detect it if I really, really, really concentrated, but in truth, if I had no knowledge of the name of this blend, I would have never guessed, not in a million years, that butterscotch was an ingredient."
