Differences between different sources of pure rooibos
I'm curious...have any of you tried enough different sources of pure red rooibos that you've gotten a sense of comparing their relative quality? Do you strongly prefer some of them to others, or do they all taste more or less the same to you?
I've tried 4 loose-leaf red rooiboses so far, and they're all relatively similar to each other in quality. I do prefer some of them to others, but the difference from one to the next is relatively small.
I have, however, noticed a lot of variability in rooibos available in tea bags...and I nearly always find these flat tasting. A sole exception was Equal Exchange's rooibos in pyramid bags.
