There has been an increase in Tea Room culture in Mexico and particularly in cosmopolitan Mexico City. These Tea rooms are small Importers which accounts for 72 Percent of the Tea import in Mexico. The Tea houses based in Mexico buy Loose Tea from Importers based in USA and Europe particulary Germany and brand and sell the loose Tea. Caravansera- is such a Tea room french styled selling and serving 95 different types of teas from around the world. The interior is awesome and antique yet modern. We have recently started supplying Tea to Caravanserai. Celeste Tea house and bar- is another major Tea house and bar, they have 20 different types of Teas in their menu starting from 45 Pesos for the ordinary to 180 Pesos for few exotic which are still few in number. Well people visit Celeste more to drink their exotic wine and champagne collections.
La esquina del Te are the pioneers in Introducing tea in Mexico, they are in the business since a decade now, they sell some 30 different types of Tea, though its small but located in the center.
There are various other Tea houses contributing in the growth of Tea market in Mexico Importing 2 kgs per flush each garden.
