Thumbs up!"The gunpowder tea takes center stage in this blend, adding a smoky, almost tobacco-like, taste to the brew. The mint is there but is less strong than in most other blends."

teatable-moroccan-mint.jpgThe leaves themselves smell strongly of mint, as one would expect. The aroma of the brewed tea is actually slightly smoky; an almost tobacco-like aroma that - thankfully - doesn't make an appearance on the tongue. The taste is clean with a hint of natural sweetness. The mint flavor is there but a lot more subdued than you'd expect. This is a particularly well-blended mint tea, and I very much enjoyed it. My only complaint would be the tobacco-like aroma which is a bit of a turn off, even if it doesn't actually transfer to the taste, but fans of gunpowder teas will likely be expecting that sort of thing.
