Thumbs up!"A delicious raspberry-flavored tea, naturally sweet with just the slightest sour note. I would buy this again, I'm sure it would be great as an iced tea."

serendipitea-razzle-dazzle.jpgI am always wary when I try a new fruity tea blend. It has happened to me one times too many that the tea tastes bitter and sour and not even a tiny bit enjoyable. Serendipitea's RazzleDazzle ‘Em was a wonderful surprise! It tasted much like raspberries without any artificialness and only a small amount of sour!

The dry tea leaves surprised me. It is supposed to consist of a mix of green tea and raspberry fruit mix, but at first glance it looks like a mix of only fruit bits, like a tisane. It smelled really a lot like raspberry. I was afraid this might mean that the tea would taste artificial, but it didn't at all! The fruit pieces are beautiful to watch as the tea brews. They expand as they absorb the water and also show off a bunch of color! I found what I think to be pieces of berries, orange peel, and maybe apple or pear in it. I would recommend brewing this tea in a clear pot or glass. The color of the brew is an impressing bright pink.

While I do not think this tea is too sour or bitter, I do recommend that sugar be added to it to mask the bit of sour after taste raspberry has. If you enjoy sour tastes, then sugar isn't needed at all! The raspberry taste is very prominent. If that is what you are looking for, then you will love this tea! The only con I found with this tea was that I couldn't taste the green tea at all. So, if you are thinking of it for the green tea aspect of it, then this might not be the tea for you. I am seriously considering purchasing this tea in the future; it would be a wonderful tea to be able to drink when I am feeling like something fruity and sweet! It also would be delicious iced!
