Thumbs up!"The effect is pleasant and relaxing. It's not quite sweet enough to be a dessert tea for me; it's better suited as an accompaniment to tasty afternoon treats. "

specialteas-vienna-winter-g.jpgWhen I first saw the dried tea leaves, I was intrigued by what looked like bits of candied nuts and almonds among the leaves. The ingredients list almonds, chocolate bits, macademia nuts, chamomile flowers, pistachios, something called cracknel bits, and cocoa kernels along with the green tea. I'm not usually a fan of white chocolate or of mixing nuts with my chocolate, but the scent of this tea is so comforting and delectable, I was drawn in. The steeping bits of leaves smell predominately of cream, nuts, and green tea, like a green tea wrapped in a baby blanket. The initial taste is mainly of cream and nuts, with the green tea coming out a moment or two later. The effect is pleasant and relaxing. It's not quite sweet enough to be a dessert tea for me; it's better suited as an accompaniment to tasty afternoon treats. I would give this to someone who was crying their eyes out since this is just comforting and sweet enough without being pitying. This is not an everyday drink for me, but definitely right for certain occasions. This has milk and nut products for those with allergies.
