Thumbs up!"The light green liquid has a medium body that tastes like a great mix of oolong and green teas. It's light and refreshing like greens, yet with more natural deep sweet, borderline woodiness that makes this delectable."

melon-seed.jpgMelon Seed" tea doesn't sound very tasty, but it did make me curious to try it. I first noticed how intriguing the dried tea looked. It's as though the long fingers of steeped white tea were oxidized a little bit longer and dried. They look like strands of grass after they've been twisted and played with. The leaves unfurl into whole pieces scented more like oolongs with their deep brothy smells...tasty. The light green liquid has a medium body that tastes like a great mix of oolong and green teas. It's light and refreshing like greens, yet with more natural deep sweet, borderline woodiness that makes this delectable. There is no hint of melon seediness which I should be happy about, but it does make me wonder how this tea earned its name. I'd feel very comfortable pushing this tea on any green tea loving guest, served hot, and at any time of day.
