Its OK"This is a fairly well-flavored blend though I did enjoy the Matcha Mint a bit more. The chocolate flavor is not as dominant in this blend as it is in some of the other Kalahari Chocolatte blends, and I found this less satisfying in that respect than some of the other blends that I've sampled."

kalahariorangeginger.jpg"We married sun-ripened Italian red oranges and delicious dark roasted cacao to tantalize your taste buds." --- Kalahari Cafe website.

Kalahari lists the ingredients in this blend as: Organic Green Tea, Organic Ginger, Organic Dark Roasted Cacao, Organic Orange Flavor and Organic chocolate flavor. I am not a huge lover of plain green teas, but do like to consume some green tea on a regular basis due to the potential health benefits. Therefore, I primarily rely upon flavored greens to get my green tea quotient. That said, I don't think that I have ever come across a orange/chocolate/ginger green tea before, so I was curious to try this blend. The aroma of the dry leaves in the tea sachet smell primarily of green tea and chocolate.

I steeped this bag in steaming water for a full 5 min. The flavor profile is initially dominated by a chocolate taste and then followed by a sweet orange flavor. The ginger adds just a note of interest to the blend, but does not really stand out and would likely not bother folks who do not like a ginger dominated blend. You can pick up a hint of the green tea taste, but it is pretty subtle. I do not think that folks looking for a green tea with flavor notes would pick this blend. This is a fairly well-flavored blend though I did enjoy the Matcha Mint a bit more. The chocolate flavor is not as dominant in this blend as it is in some of the other Kalahari Chocolatte blends, and I found this less satisfying in that respect than some of the other blends that I've sampled.

Overall, this is this a pleasant blend and there is nothing objectionable about the flavor profile to my tastebuds. While not my favorite Kalahari blend, it is worth your consideration.
