rejuvenatemjoshuatree.jpgI'm always a bit dubious of teas named after their supposed effects, like "Dream" or "Rejuvenate", until I've looked at the ingredient list; not because I'm looking to see if they ingredients purportedly do as they say, as I'm guess they probably will, but to see if the blend might actually taste interesting. Joshua Tree, which primarily sells sporting goods, uses fairly uncommon ingredients in most of its teas, and this one had it's fair share of relatively unusual ingredients (such as Fo-Ti and Eleuthero), but was primarily made of such common ingredients as lemon balm, orange peel, lemon peel, lemon grass, and peppermint.

When I got my sample, I gave it a quick whiff, and was instantly impressed. It was citrusy, but not overly strong, and it was more orange citrus than lemon citrus, which I thought was nice, as there seems to be an overabundance of lemon-flavored teas on the market.

The brewed tea, however, tastes pretty much just like lemon grass (unsurprising, considering there's three different kinds of lemon flavored ingredients and only one orange ingredient). There's a slightly orangey aftertaste, but it's not strong and is kind of on the funky side (the bad kind of funky, no less).

Bottom Line: Nothing special, really. If you're looking for something lemony, plenty of other retailers offer lemon-flavored tea that doesn't carry the odd orangey aftertaste that this one does at a much more reasonable price.
