teaspotgreenroastedmintThe Tea Spot website offers a multitude of things. There are a limited number of teas, tea wares, tea information (even a section on tea pairings), and a blog. Sometimes when you check out a tea site, things catch your eye (this happens to Laura - another tea views reviewer - all the time. On this site I was drawn to the “Tuffy Steeper.“ It’s a portable tea steeper for people on the go. They also have a frequent buyers point program. When you look at each tea you have access to it’s features, benefits, reviews, recipes and a sharing feature. This particular tea has a recipe for Green tea chicken noodle soup, I’ll make my husband make it for me. The dry aroma of the tea was overwhelmingly minty. It had small chopped tea leaves and some mint pieces. As I was taking the infused tea leaves out of my teamaker to look at them my eyes actually stung from the smell of the mint. The color of the tea was a light amber. In the cup the hojicha brought this roasted aroma as well in the flavor. Most of the taste however was mint.

This is a good tea for a strong mint lover, who likes something a little different.
