Thumbs up!"The white tea is smooth and has a pretty strong floral component to it. It also has the taste of one that is of decent quality. The blueberry is actually pretty natural tasting, and not tart at all as some blueberries are."

zhi-white-blueberry.jpg"Our Zhi House Blend White Blueberry is crafted exclusively from our superior grade organic India White Peony blended with organic blueberries, blue malva flowers, and botanical blueberry flavor. This organic sensation is not only chock-full of anti-oxidants but totally delivers in the taste department. Rather than covering the delicate body of the tea itself, our blend merely enhances and reveals even more of the natural qualities of the tea." --- Zhi website.

The aroma coming from my sample smells of blueberries and flowers. The pieces of the blue malva flowers are quite large and make the tea visually pretty to look at. There are also whole dried blueberries in this. I steeped this according to directions and added just a pinch of rock cane sugar to sweeten it.

The white tea is smooth and has a pretty strong floral component to it. It also has the taste of one that is of decent quality. The blueberry is actually pretty natural tasting, and not tart at all as some blueberries are. This is more of a sweet blueberry. This is strong enough to stand up to an ice cube should you want to drink it cold, but is not overpowering. The blend is pretty well-balanced overall.

Zhi has again delivered a well done blend--best white blueberry tea I've had. I actually probably prefer their White Pomegranate, but there is nothing objectionable about this--that is just a personal preference. I think this would make an excellent iced tea and is more of a spring/summer blend. I did find the price to be a little bit of a drawback at $12.50 for 1.4 oz tin. There are a lot of places out there where you can get a decent blueberry white tea at a fair price. However, if you are a true white tea connoisseur, then you might find it worth it. Since Zhi gives away a free sample with every order, you should at least get a sample of this and see what you think.
