The yellow brew parallels the complexity of the scent. It tastes strongly like a tea version of hay with hints of herbs, berries, and flowers. While this is the spring flush, the character has an overall autumnal feel, reminiscent of the ever-changing season with its beautiful colours and characteristics. I attempted a second steep, and while the flavour appeared somewhat washed out, I still enjoyed the cup immensely.
In short, this is an excellent cup of tea. The only real drawback is that, at the time I'm writing this, once you convert the price from pounds to US Dollars, it's pretty expensive. Considering how delightful and quality this leaf is, it's a reasonable price to pay. Snatch it up now while you still can, since, as with all estate flushes, this tea is limited.
