bostondragonwellThe aroma of the large leaves blends yellow honey and rich green tea. It's bold and slightly bitter with that hearty earthy scent that drifts from greens derived from carefully engineered environments. The post-steep aroma shifts to a therapeutic form, somewhere between eucalyptus steam and proper green tea. The scent is quite soothing.

This is a healthy dragonwell, providing a more pronounced bitterness than some of the thinner greens. The wide, flat leaves of this breed provide a healthy run of three steeps per set. Each steep provides a noticeable change in the overall brew, but each is also a fair concoction. The flavor is a bold yellow-green and feels well-rounded.

A bold texture accompanies this bold, yellow flavor. The slightly spicy splash between the teeth wraps around the emotional ring well. In the strangest of manners, a comfortable warm sensation is balanced with a lifting surge of energy. It is all quite enjoyable.
