Thumbs up!"This tea’s ingredients are, for the most part, fairly common in the world of herbal teas, but the honey component makes this blend stand out among other blends with similar ingredients. "

bostonlemonhoneychamomileThis all-organic tea is a blend of chamomile, green rooibos, lemon peel, osmanthus flowers, and honey. Although rooibos is the base of this tea, the flavor of the rooibos is well hidden under the stronger chamomile and honey flavors. The lemon is very subdued, as is the osmanthus. When I drink chamomile tea, I typically add a spoonful of honey to the tea, but with this blend, the addition of honey wasn’t necessary because the honey flavor in this tea is rich and spot-on. I have to give Boston Tea Company points on being able to deliver a true honey flavor, as other so-called honey teas really disappointed me with weak and/or artificial flavors. Even though the ingredients list includes ‘honey flavor’ and not honey itself, whatever it is, the flavor is delicious. This tea has a nice balance of apple and honey sweetness; in all, it’s a delicious herbal blend. This tea’s ingredients are, for the most part, fairly common in the world of herbal teas, but the honey component makes this blend stand out among other blends with similar ingredients. From my experience, this is one of the better blends offered by Boston Tea Company and is one I can see finding comforting as an evening cup as cooler weather approaches.
