Thumbs up!"This was a very drinkable tea, and while it is certainly ‘bursting with flavour’ as described on the Tea Needs website, I’m afraid to say that peach really isn’t contributing to the flavor explosion. "

teaneedspeachcobblerI have to admit that I initially had a bit of a challenge locating Peach Cobbler on the Tea Needs website. After countless clicking on various tabs and locations, I finally stumbled upon it. My difficulties, apparently, are because this tea is not listed under the ‘herbal tea’ category, but instead the ‘blended tea’ category, despite the fact that this tea, although a blend of ingredients, appears (and I say appears, because sadly, there is no ingredients list provided) to be entirely herbal in its composition. From what I can tell, the tea contains rooibos, citrus peels, some pieces of a dried fruit which I suppose must be peaches, and some small flowers that I am guessing must be chamomile. Based on the scent, I am thinking that some other unseen flavors, natural and/or artificial, must be present. The tea does have a very sweet aroma, although I must say that it is not readily identifiable as peach. I found that the flavor was very much the same: definitely very fruity in its flavor, but I don’t think that the peach flavor is what shines through. In fact, peach is probably the last flavor I would have identified in this blend if I hadn’t known the name of the tea. Orange, lemon, and apple flavors are all detectable and produce a richly sweet and refreshing blend. I was actually taken aback at how sweet this tea is. I certainly didn’t need to add any sugar to this one! In all, this was a very drinkable tea, and while it is certainly ‘bursting with flavour’ as described on the Tea Needs website, I’m afraid to say that peach really isn’t contributing to the flavor explosion. I would recommend this to those that are looking for smooth fruit-flavored blend, but not particularly to those looking for a peach-flavored tea.

  1. Mr. Teavana Says:

Ingredients in order: Organic Honeybush, Organic Peaches, Organic Rooibos, Organic Chamomile, Organic Pandanus, Organic Large Orange Peel, Organic Lemongrass. The tea is made from mostly organic peaches. No artificial anything! I’m sorry to say that dried peaches don’t taste as much like peaches than fake peach flavor. Mcdonalds sausage tastes more like sausage than sausage, right Vanessa? Oh well, you had the number right!
