Its OK"The tea was primarily earthy in its flavor, with the specific notes of grass and melon coming through as most prominent, followed by more subtle chestnut undertones. While this is a white tea, it does not appear to be decidedly so, as its flavor teeters on the boundaries between green and white teas. "

Based on appearance of the leaves, this tea seems to be a high-quality offering. The leaves are large and fluffy with an appreciable downiness to them. The dry leaves had a subtle aroma, but it tended torwards a green/hay scent with a hint of sweet fruitiness. I used sub-boiling water and a three minute steep time. The tea was a pale, straw-yellow, clear color. The aroma that wafted off the infused leaves after I removed them from the tea was very vegetal and actually comparable to many a green tea, with a distinctly earthy element. The flavor of the tea was very subtle, as is expected from white teas when compared to darker teas. The tea was primarily earthy in its flavor, with the specific notes of grass and melon coming through as most prominent, followed by more subtle chestnut undertones. While this is a white tea, it does not appear to be decidedly so, as its flavor teeters on the boundaries between green and white teas. This was probably the "greenest" (in flavor) white tea I have sampled. I can't say I personally loved it, but I do think its a quality offering and one that will appeal to many, particularly green tea drinkers.
