Thumbs up!"The flavor was perfect! Exactly what I had hoped! The sencha was smooth and sweet and the primary flavor. It had an nice gentle undertone of coconut, and after swallowing a sip, I could feel and taste the ginger."

White August Tea has over 110 varieties of loose leaf tea, and they offer free shipping on orders over $35! I love browsing their website. I always find something new and interesting! Not only do you find a great selection of tea, they have some great informational pages, including brewing instructions. Though I generally prefer individual brewing instructions, I feel more confident with White August Tea's brewing instruction page, because they include links to many of their teas that need special instructions.

I was very excited to try Rogue wave. I love sencha green tea, I love ginger, I love coconut! So Rogue Wave sounded like the perfect tea for me!

When the tea is opened, the smell of coconut is very strong. But I know from other well made coconut teas, that this does not always indicate how strong the flavor with be.

I heated my water fresh water to 165 degrees and steeped it for 3 minutes. It smelled lovely, like sweet sencha tea and coconut. It was a deep yellow with a tinge of green, but the tea was not completely clear. It appeared to have a bit of dust floating in it, which I found gathered at the bottom of the cup when I finished.

The flavor was perfect! Exactly what I had hoped! The sencha was smooth and sweet and the primary flavor. It had an nice gentle undertone of coconut, and after swallowing a sip, I could feel and taste the ginger.

I found that a teaspoon could be steeped 3 separate times. The first time I steeped it for 3 min while the second and third time I steeped it 4 min. Each cup of tea was lovely. The coconut faded a bit the second cup. The whole cup was lighter by the third steep, but still sweet and slightly flavored.

I love this tea! It warms my mouth and my heart. I could drink this all spring while I wait for the sun to shine this summer. I'm guessing it will also make a very nice iced tea, but I only drank it hot.

This is definitely a new favorite tea!
