Thumbs up!"The prepared cup is actually quite tasty. While I can't really say that this tastes exactly like gojiberries, it is well blended. I would actually say that it tastes more like a blueberry lemon fusion with a pomegranate backdrop."

"The scene: summer fun-filled, bright, red gojiberries, with a bed of green Sencha, a spritz of lemon grass, and a splash of pomegranate and blueberries." ---Tiesta Tea website.

Ok, I literally cannot write a review of this blend without commenting on the Tiesta Tea website even though I know that virtually every other reviewer on here has already done so. It is annoying and cumbersome. There I said it. They have their teas segregated into Karma categories such as Energizer, Slenderizer, Forever Young, Immunity, and Relaxer. You can choose your Karma and then choose a tea type. I personally found it to be too gimmicky and time consuming. Not a fan of the website....at all.

Now that I got that out of the way, my sample of this tea smells delicious and is visually appealing. The ingredients in this particular blend are listed as green tea, gojiberries, lemongrass, and pomegranate seeds. There are lots of pops of color from the dried gojiberries and some little purple flower petal shreds. I prepared it using water heated to the recommended 175 degrees and gave it about a 2.5 min infusion. The prepared cup is actually quite tasty. While I can't really say that this tastes exactly like gojiberries, it is well blended. I would actually say that it tastes more like a blueberry lemon fusion with a pomegranate backdrop. The green tea is mild and not really vegetal. It tastes to be of a decent quality and in no way detracted from my enjoyment of the blend. While the flavor profile is relatively full, I can still taste a touch of the green tea. Perhaps I sense it more than I actually taste. This one is naturally sweet and fruity and I would hold off on getting heavy handed with the sweetener until you've tasted it. I mostly drink my tea hot, but I suspect that this one would also make an excellent iced tea.

Overall, I found the tea itself to be quite tasty and one that I would like to drink again. It went down easily and I liked the sweet fruitiness of the blend and the mild green tea. The blend sells for $10 for a 4 oz tin, which I consider to be a pretty good deal. By the way, you can actually find this blend under the Forever Young category on the website. Hopefully, that tip will save potential buyers a lot of time and aggravation. If I didn't find the website so aggravating, I might be running for my credit card to place an order. I still haven't completely ruled out ordering this because I did really like it, but this one is going to have to marinate and I am going to have to really crave it to go through the aggravation. If you don't mind the gimmicky website, then I would definitely recommend this one for purchase. The prepared cup gets a thumbs up!
