Plum Proud is a great flavoured black tea that is full of French plums, cranberries, raspberries, and a bit of strawberry essence. It is very fruity and the flavour is well blended with the black tea. This tea is recommended to be drunk as iced tea and I tried it both hot and iced.

I brewed this tea at 90C and tasted it hot. Then I iced it to get an idea of it both ways. I enjoyed the hot version a bit better than the iced but found both to be good. The fruit flavours were very evident in both taste tests. The hot tea had a lighter fruit flavour which I enjoyed. The iced version had a bit stronger fruit flavour to it which was also enjoyable but a bit strong for me.

The tea has gorgeous tightly rolled black leaves which are mingled with bright red and yellow bits and some deep cranberry red pieces as well. They are quite nice to look at and have a fruity, sweet aroma. The liquor of the tea is a beautiful golden brown, almost honey coloured. Brewed it has a sweet aroma with strong berry overtones.

This is not likely to be at the top of my list of teas to buy but it was enjoyable. Anyone who enjoys fruity iced teas would be sure to enjoy this tea.
