I found the perfect lemon cream tea, then the company that made it got absorbed by another one, making that specific blend impossible to find. I found a suitable alternative, which immediately got discontinued before I even got to buy any. If The Necessiteas stops carrying this blend, I might cry, because I have once again found the tea I'm looking for.

The dry leaf smells delicious. The prepared herbal smells delicious. It tastes delicious. I suspect you've managed to catch onto the pattern by now.

It's somewhat tart and strongly lemony, like the filling in a lemon meringue pie. I don't get a strong amount of creaminess. It's there, but not enough to complete the feel of the meringue part of the pie. Bright and fruity, sweet and interesting, this is a rooibos I would buy and would love.

Iced, it's bright and refreshing. It leaves a lingering creaminess that is light and not cloying. All the flavours come through, and it's sweet enough that I don't feel the need to add sweetener, which I usually do for my iced teas. It is basically the perfect iced blend. This herbal is one of the rare few that's equally delicious hot or cold. Another blend I could buy by the kilo from The Necessiteas. Now if I only had time to drink them all.
