Thumbs up!"Probably a post dinner tea, since it would aide in digestion and sleep."

Let me start by saying that I like this tea a lot. It is certainly a tea that I would allow on a weekly basis.
My reasoning: It is consistent and can hardly be over brewed.

This wonderfully blended Rooibos tea is what I would call a "rest and digest" tea. It would certainly aid in the Parasympathetic Nervous System's attempts to calm your mind and body so that it may work internally to extract nutrients from dinner. The brew is, as all red bush tends to be, a ruddy red colour and has no foamy qualities. I brewed this tea for 5-7 minutes, and then once when I forgot it for 12 (oops) and all of the brews were good. For the everyday Joe or Jane who forget that they were brewing tea, its nice to be able to come back and pour a cup instead of serving tea to the kitchen drain.

The flavours themselves are very well mixed. The chamomile is not too strong in flavour, it just hints that it is there laying on a bed of solid rooibos flavour. The peppermint is subtle - not like the chamomile- but it does something wonderful in combination. The whole of the ingredients is more than the sum of the parts in that it creates a velvetine layered feeling in the mouth which produced, for me, the lightest hint of dark 85% cacao. This with the up beat peppermint is delicious. I really could see this tea being served as a dessert accompaniment at a gastropub.
