The Necessiteas has created a lemon lover's dream in this green rooibos based offering. In the mix, besides abundant green rooibos, you can pick out lots of lemongrass, lemon peel and chunks of a candy like material that is perhaps a sugar encrusted peel? The ingredients also mention vanilla chips and natural flavor.

The scent - mmmmm - imagine the tart, sinus cleansing sourness of lemon to the nth degree. This tisane smells sweet, sour, sharp and deliciously lemony. There's a bright fresh fragrance that is the scent of an "ideal" lemonade on a hot summer's day; the scent of a slender tangy slice of lemon tart. All lemon. Delicious smell!

I infused a teaspoon of blend in 8 ounces of 212 degree water for five minutes, adding just a little bit of liquid stevia to the steeping cup. The liquor is the golden orange of green rooibos and smells to be just a lovely lemon tisane. The green rooibos is a cheerful backdrop for the zingy sweet sour of the lemon flavor. The lemon is further enhanced by surprisingly discernible lemongrass. The green rooibos has a prominent flavor that when coupled with the lemongrass gives this tisane a tropical flair. Cooling enhances both the lemongrass flavor and the creamy quality of the blend. Once a little cooling takes place, I get a strong sense of the chiffon flavor. Creamy and sweet/tart, the lemon is still very pronounced and there's a nice sweet and sour dryness closing the sip.

Very good! This would be awesome iced, but it's a great treat in the dark November approach to winter - a little taste of a summery place.
