Dragonwell, well Dragonwell worth drinking, should always be brewed in the cup or in a clear glass pot for the sheer visual pleasure of it. Dragonwell of good quality will, without exception, sink when finished brewing thus negating the need for any sort of timing (These claims not evaluated by the FDA, results subject to altitude and water quality, etc., etc.,). Worst case you swallow a few leaves with your sip and add a bit to your daily serving of leafy green vegetables.

This must have been an excellent year for TeaVivre's sources as the leaves are well mottled, mostly unbroken, and delicate in the cup. The liquor has the rich taste of properly prepared Brussels sprouts in clarified butter, and an artichoke like aroma. The vendors description of orchid flavors is entirely accurate as well, although only meaningful to those of us who've eaten orchid blossoms. The leaves look good enough to eat, and so I did, after brewing they provide an interesting treat for those of us not too fearful of unorthodox greens. I can wholeheartedly recommend this for fans of Chinese green teas.
