This is the third and final installment in my flight of matcha teas from Aiya. It is described as the organic counterpart to Aiya's regular Ceremonial Grade matcha, and I'm interested to see if the flavour measures up. It certainly looks like it will; the powder is a brilliant shade of neon green, and as the other two teas it whisks up beautifully.

Taste-wise, I found it surprisingly close to their non-organic Ceremonial Grade. It's not particularly sweet, but it has a strong vegetal flavour and a smooth texture. The slight sweetness pairs well with the subtle nuttiness. It is a bit more acidic, but for the most part drinking it is much the same experience.

The price difference is pretty negligible, so if you prefer drinking organic teas, you may as well go for this over the regular Ceremonial Grade matcha. I'm not usually swayed by organic, but given the choice, I'd buy this because with ground teas you're consuming the entire leaf. Once again, the texture has been my favourite part of this tea, and I doubt you'd be disappointed if you purchased this, as I doubt you'd be disappointed with any of Aiya's matchas.
