If I ever travel to Malaysia, my first stop will be BOH Tea's Sungei Palas Tea Centre.  I can't imagine a better place to recuperate from an international flight than a tea room overlooking rolling hills full of tea plants!  (Do check out the "virtual tour" on BOH's website by clicking on the link at the bottom of this review.  You're in for a treat!)

Not only does the BOH atmosphere look relaxing, but the brand itself is so darn FRIENDLY.  The logo on their homepage is a retro-looking "teabag" man wearing a red shirt and a pompadour.  What's not to love?

BOH's teas are reliably good, too.  Bukit Cheeding comes from one of BOH's four tea gardens.  Bukit Cheeding, in fact is the name of the garden, located in Malaysia's most populous state, Selangor.

Bukit Cheeding (BC) was not my favorite BOH blend.  It was utterly drinkable, once I got past the smell! For some reason, it had a musty odor.  It reminded me of being in a public shower!  It wasn't too inviting, but I'm always game for at least one sip of black tea, no matter what my nose says.  Besides, this tea looked so yummy. The tiny, orange-brown dust brewed up with a nice foamy head.  It looked strong and malty.

Alas, it wasn't so strong, nor was the flavor memorable.  It was so well-balanced, it was sort of boring.  It just had no outstanding quality to help me describe it.  The bashful taste and moldy odor induce me to rate it a 4.  I'd recommend BOH's other blends instead.
